KBB at the 31st CIMAC World Congress in Zurich
From May 19 to May 23, 2025, more than 800 participants met in Zurich at the most important international forum for the large engine, energy and drive industry, the CIMAC Congress.
Every three years, leading experts gather to discuss current challenges and developments, develop solutions together and maintain existing networks or make new contacts.
The conference focused on increasing digitalization and the role of new fuels in marine and stationary engines.
Accordingly, the presentation by our colleague Thomas Pitschel on “The impact of alternative fuels on the requirements for future turbocharger generations” was met with great interest.
As a source of inspiration for the entire industry, the congress impressed with a wealth of ground-breaking presentations, stimulating discussions and intensive conversations with colleagues from all over the world.
Inspired and enriched by some valuable experiences, we are already looking forward to the next CIMAC Congress in Belgium in 2028.

Until then, we will continue to focus on innovation, progress and sustainable solutions for the future of our turbochargers from Bannewitz.
